About RT the Rocket Turtle

RT the Rocket Turtle was born in the center of one of the few remaining virgin forests in America. The forest has not been discovered by Google Maps.

RT was not always known as RT the Rocket Turtle. You may have heard part of the story of the Tortoise and the Hare as reported on MSNBC, CNN and Fox News, but you may not know the whole story.

Here, for the first time, RT tells what really happened, and how he became known as RT the Rocket Turtle.

S. Poke the Tortoise, RT’s cousin, challenged the fastest hare in the forest to a race. You know that part of the story, but you didn’t know that RT was a researcher and used research findings to help S. Poke win the race. RT launched an online research study to learn the behavior of hares. Understanding their strengths and weaknesses, S. Poke was able to capitalize on this knowledge and win a decisive victory.

“Here,” as the late Paul Harvey would say, “is the rest of the story”.

RT continued with new online market research projects. One of his studies found that clients wanted to work with a market research company that was fast, reliable and responsive. When we heard RT’s keynote address at the ESOMAR Conference, we were so impressed we asked RT to join Persuadable Research Corporation as a symbol of our culture and beliefs.

From the start, RT was a great addition to Persuadable Research, but RT felt that he needed something more to become a true representative of our market research company. He suggested tying a rocket to his back. “Rockets have to be fast, reliable and responsive to commands.  It will be a great symbol of our performance,” he said.

So, RT tied a rocket to his back and became our symbol. At market research conferences people admiringly referred to him as RT the Rocket Turtle. Our clients began saying that Persuadable Research was truly rocket powered. It all seemed to click, just like the research said it would.
